While sitting in Bojangles I saw that all the employees wore headsets so they could hear the drive through and talk to each other and I was wondering: what exactly are those? Are they a short range two way radio? Or something else? Thanks!

using headset with walkie talkies?
Saturday, May 14th, 2011I’ve got two different kinds of walkie talkie, both with 2.5mm ‘accessory’ headset jacks .
I then bought a 2.5mm plantronics headset which apparently worked with walkie talkies, when it’s plugged in on both walkie talkies the mic works and sends to the other walkie talkie but no audio. No menu’s work when the headsets are plugged in. Any ideas?

I want to buy them but they dont come with headsets but they do support headsets, they have 2 input jacks one of the jacks has a pin down the center like a dc power jack but they charge in a holder and the concacts are on the back.
I intend useing them when I am ont on my mountain bike with others.
I have just found out the jack with the pin down the center is another charging socket. Binatone have a customer help line 0845 345 9677 (nice of them to not to have it on their web site)
